FOUNDED by Privilege Nyauta in 2020, Resellme is a company that allows resellers to resell domains and hosting. Necessitated by the fact that many companies are trying to leverage the opportunities that the web can bring to a business, Resellme is a platform created to help businesses as well as individuals to provide domains and hosting to their clients with ease.
Speaking to The Entrepreneurial Magazine, the Chief Executive Officer of Resellme said the formation of the company was inspired by the growing demand for web-presence solutions (Web Hosting, Domain registration) by companies mainly due to COVID-19. The company is based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
“When I started out, back in 2011, I lost lots of money trying to host a few websites clients I had. And fortunately, companies cannot lose money like I did.
“If you are a freelancer and just trying to provide more services to your clients or you want to start a small hosting and domain registration, we are your plug,” Nyauta said.
Shedding light on what a reseller is, Nyauta said: “Resellers are individuals who create accounts with us for the purpose of buying hosting and domains from us then resell them at a premium to their own clients.”
Resellme is unique because it affords anyone to start a domain and hosting business with $0 capital and within 5 minutes.
“The services (hosting and domains) that the resellers buy from us have a small markup on them. That’s where the profit comes from,” Nyauta said.
The company is hinged on the vision to provide a state-of-the-art platform that resellers can trust.
“The vision of the company is to be able to provide its users with an easy-to-use platform, that creates value for its partners.
“By the end of 2022 we will have added most sort after domain extensions for Botswana, Rwanda, and Kenya. The Resellme Free billing system will have have complete functionality based on Resellme portal,” Nyauta remarked.
The company is based in Harare and it also offers an array of extensions.
